These are my final designs for the front page and a rough idea of what it should look like when finished. I have combined as many of the forms and conventions of local newspapers front pages, including positioning the masterhead at the top of the page as well as including a variety of articles advertisements and mid-shot images. through using these I hope that using these forms and conventions will help to create a realistic and appropriate local newspaper.
